Hibiki isn't too smart or delicate – he is pretty slow on catching up with things he doesn't understand and will often distance oneself instead of picking up a challenge. This guy is likely to take a slow, laid-back approach and, to say, he enjoys it that way. Chill by nature, it may seem that he doesn't have any regrets about life because of his absent-minded philosophy. In truth it doesn't matter if he fails or succeeds at something, Echo tries to enjoy the moment without thinking about the consequences. Despite the aggressive looks he is usually calm unless provoked, it is true, however, that he can be provoked very easily.  

» Abilities/Powers:

[P@y-back/Berserk] – once per fight may immediately inflict equal damage he has taken from someone’s attack either it’s very few or exceeds his physical capabilities. P@y-back requires a state of high focus or extreme rage.

[Sadistic masochist] - Hibiki has (limited) insensitivity to pain and may often find it pleasurable. Witnessing some gore may also hype him up and give extra boost, return portion of lost vitality.

Defencive 3:1 Offencive

First thing you will probably encounter while fighting this fellow is his loading face. He doesn't use any weapons or magical/surreal items(or skills) but can apply armoured gloves to double-force his hits and boost defences even more.

Hibiki is least likely to hit first and usually would willingly accept some damage for a warm up. This guy may also have his opponent drained with hard-to-bypass defences. When wounded, Echo prefers defensive position due to [Sadistic masochist] ability.   

While attacking, he is unpredictable and chaotic which has certain advantages and disadvantages: since there is no system for his offensive attacks, the stamina drains quickly, however, one may never guess what move comes next. The attack speed isn't high and Hibiki almost always hits last, but every hit counts - proper strike can cause serious damage to ones with low defence stats.

» Biography:

The image of an awkward freak was often forced onto Hibiki and has grown to him quick and tight since he wouldn't deny it. Hibiki’s never been talented or clever, sucked at every class except PE, granted with height and strength he had no choice but to become a carnivore bully just to survive. Gradually, as he grew taller and stronger, Hibiki became commonly feared by the surroundings simply because no one knew what to expect from this weird and intimidatingly big kid.

His common indifference and obscure behaviour made enough space for plenty of rumours – yakuza/serial killer/rapist/cannibal... As ridiculous and unbelievable some whispers are he won’t deny or confirm a single one. Undeniably, there is something off in his aura. The vibe can be picked up from his weird manner of speech and an irrational look.

Like many from his alliance, Hibiki kills without reasoning. He’s simply indifferent towards the concept of life and doesn’t give it any value either it’s his or someone else’s. Though, kid often gets carried away by the process of literally squeezing life out of his opponent – maybe he doesn’t care much for life but struggle to survive is something that he loves to share.

Despite the obvious mental issues he’s never been to a mental hospital…? 

"...wait a sec, didn't you hear?, he was /born/ at a mental hospital from some crazy lady... No, he escaped special security prison, I heard he was there for killing and feasting on own parents!... or was it his sister?..."

Nah, just another rumour… is it?...  

» History:

Originally from Hokkaido, Setana.

Kid came from a complicated family with a long and twisted history of domestic abuse. 
After the series of casualties, in which he wasn't involved, Hibiki moved to Tokyo with his elder sister. 

Somehow Hibiki and his sister got by on their own until he once disappeared. After a week, boy came to class all covered in gush and gore, sat at his desk sharing one confused look “why is.. everyone staring?”. He would never say a word about what happened and, in fact, nothing seemed to be different about him as if everything was perfectly fine. Sister was nowhere to be found... When the boy was told that she's gone missing he’d just share an indifferent shrug. Absence of kid's interest in that situation was explained as a post-traumatic reaction to some presumably horrific experiences... No one could explain what exactly happened on that bloody Monday but vague memories still roam in Hibiki's mind up to this day...

The police investigation stopped making progress once it was discovered that the big sis used to work at soap lands and pink salons all around Kabukicho. Presumably she also had ties with the outlaw gangs/ involved with drugs on many levels. Meanwhile, the kid closed in and remained to be awkward, which in his case was rather natural. After several therapy sessions he was sent away to live with distant relatives who couldn’t care less for the boy. What psychologists failed to notice was the darkness that settled in deep within.

In teen years Hibiki almost never got into trouble but was messed up enough to provoke random fights and never fight back just to get beaten for own amusement. Hibiki managed to continue ordinary existence until the street-fights hit him from nowhere. Almost instantly, it became kid’s passion and later - main source of profit. Since he was 16, kid used to join the underground "last-standing" tournaments where he most often lost. Without people noticing Hibiki started to gain himself a name and soon started to be recognised by his nickname (Echo). Shady fame came in a full package including lots of rumours, nasty wounds and a fine dose of experience. While being relatively known at streets the guy sucked at school so hard that he eventually dropped out. At his 19 Hibiki lives independently picking up random dirty jobs here and there to get by. Despite being a silent guro addict with mania for violence he’s doing pretty well…
